Rand E. Chase, CFRE

As the Vice President, National Voluntary Organizations, Mr. Chase offers clients over 30 years experience in non-profit strategic development, with particular skill in comprehensive campaign management and the integration of gift planning and major gift production into sustaining annual gifts programs.
Mr. Chase shares his experiences as a senior development executive at the nation's two top income-producing organizations with clients at Ketchum. For 16 years, Rand E. Chase led The Salvation Army's development program as its Director in The Empire State Division. Responsible for all aspects of the comprehensive $20 million+ annual fundraising plan, he also personally specialized in distinguished giving through major and planned gifts in campaigns and special initiatives. Seventy-five (75) United Way relationships were also under his direct management, requiring complex volunteer management strategies and program/budget presentational creativity.
For 11 years, Rand E. Chase served the American Cancer Society in high performance market focused development. As the Senior Vice President of Income Development in New York, he was selected as the initial Vice President of Major Gifts and Planned Gifts for the organization's leading Eastern Division. There he developed and managed comprehensive campaigns and built a premier staff of campaign, major gift, and planned giving officers, as well as estate attorneys and foundation relation executives. Advancing to Nationwide Director for Resources and Consulting of the American Cancer Society Foundation, he led major campaigns and provided extensive training to staff and volunteers throughout the country in distinguished gift fundraising.
