David A. Hoffman, CFRE
Kevin LloydDavid Hoffman, Ketchum's Associate Vice President, Innovation, joined the firm in 2000 with more than 12 years of experience in fundraising and development, as well as experience in non-profit management, strategic planning, and volunteer training. In addition, he has strong experience in database management and in conducting development audits and planning studies. Before joining Ketchum, he served as Executive Director of The Center of Tampa Bay, where he managed the daily operations of the organization in addition to fundraising that included annual giving, membership, grants, special events, and a capital campaign.

Prior to that time, he served in several management positions at Saint Leo University, including Director of Annual Fund, Director of Alumni and Parent Relations and Director of Development. Other organizations he has served include the American Diabetes Association where he was regional coordinator in the Tampa office and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in both Orlando, Florida and Columbus, Ohio. David's entire career has been devoted to fundraising and the nonprofit sector.

Mr. Hoffman is currently serving as lead campaign counsel to Palmer Trinity School in Miami, Florida, and The Blood Alliance in Jacksonville, Florida. Recent clients include the Orlando Science Center in Orlando, Florida; Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California; Western Pennsylvania Conservancy in Pittsburgh; Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and All Children's Hospital Foundation in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Other Ketchum clients he has provided counsel to include Harper College in Palatine, Illinois; Wilmington Friends School in Wilmington, Delaware; The National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland; the American Cancer Society, in Phoenix, Arizona; New Hope Academy in Youngstown, Ohio; Mercy Memorial Health Center in Ardmore, Oklahoma; The Washington Hospital Foundation in Washington, Pennsylvania; Township of Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania; LifePath Hospice and Palliative Care in Tampa, Florida; The Adoption Exchange in Denver, Colorado; Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York; and Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.

Mr. Hoffman received a B.A. degree with majors in Psychology and English from Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio, and a M.S. degree in Management and Leadership from National-Louis University in Chicago, Illinois.

He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), a volunteer for the Florida Genealogical Society, a past member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and a former member of the Children's Services Committee of the Juvenile Welfare Board in St. Petersburg, Florida.
